Stuff your Kids Easter Baskets with Something Different

Your little ones first Easter Basket is a fun thing to plan! So many cute outfits, bows, treats..etc. But as the years go on you end up running out of ideas, at least I do anyways. I usually always ending up going for the chalk, chocolate bunnies, stuffed animals and you know the usuals. Those are all great, but if you anything like me you may LOVE to shake things up a bit!

Spring/Summer Activities for your Little Ones

When planning your kids Easter basket you really don’t have to over think everything too much. Just think ahead. For instance, where we live it is cold 9 out of the 12 months which means being outside becomes a priority by the time we reach spring time. So when determining my daughters basket, this year, I found that outside activities were the way to go! Especially since she has been obsessed with bugs! Ew, but I am excited because this is the time of year where it isn’t to hard to find bug themed items!

Outdoorsy Themed Easter Basket

We chose an outdoor themed easter basket because we live in such a cold area that being outside is our goal! That being said, our daughter realized how amazingly warm it can get and will not let us skip a moment outside. I cannot complain!

Books, books, and MORE BOOKS!

Books are our classic go to! You just cannot go wrong with gifting your children books! They don’t even have to be new books! As long as the book is new to them they will not know or even care !

Fun Clothes!

Next easy idea is a shirt or any clothing! This is a fun idea to really tie together whatever theme you make want to achieve! With doing the bug/ outdoor theme I know my daughter would love this shirt! Yes, I know its a boys shirt but it is a shirt that I really don’t care if it gets messed up! Messes only create memories!

Toddler Wooden Toy ” Camera”

Now this was an awesome find! I love to got thrift shopping and scoping out the toy section is a MUST! This is a kaleidoscope in the shape of a camera! Something so simple will give your child an endless hours of entertainment!

Gardening Gloves for your Kids

Gardening gloves are a good start when planning out your kids Easter basket! Wether you garden or not it is an extra layer of protection for their hands and/or a way to help you along with the garden! More memories that can’t be taken from you!

Outdoor Flash Cards!

As I was going through some old boxes I spotted these! These are some on-the-go Flash Cards! I remember picking these up at Target over a year ago! So I cannot Find these but these are not too hard to recreate! These will make going on walks a little more special!

Single Hole Punch the top of the Flash Card
Use a binder ring to put all the flash cards together

Coloring Pages!

Lastly, coloring pages and some crayons are an easy way to keep your kids Easter basket fun and fresh! Add a pack of crayons or paints and with this whole Easter Basket there is an endless amount of entertainment!

When your planning…

So when you are trying to think of the perfect Easter basket for you little one(s) just think about the memories that could be made! That is especially helpful if you don’t want to include candy with their basket(s). Have fun! And remember don’t over think it!
