Being a mom is a 24/7 job. No breaks. Definitely no vacation. No sick time. All work. That being said being a mom is not bad work. Being a mom is the most important position that has a spot in everyones life. So with Mother’s Day coming up make sure to think of a special way to celebrate the wonderful woman in your life. What does your Mother want?
If you where to ask your mother right now what she would like as a gift what would she say? Probably something up in the air, vague, and not helpful. I know that is how I am, and how my mother is as well!
Us moms, or most moms, that say those vague responses are not just doing that just because to be humble. We are probably saying that because we genuinely just don’t know!
I love being a mother, and thankfully all my interests revolve around my family and being a mom! That being said if I had to think of something I would want it would probably be for my husband to take my youngest out to the hardware store to shop while my oldest napped so I could clean, cook, or even shower uninterrupted.
When I was thinking about that I decided to comes up with the “DO NOT INTERRUPT BASKET”. I know it sounds funny but it is so simple and helpful and may cause for a few laughs!
Mothers Gift Set
When coming up with this ideas I wanted to mustard up something that didn’t take long to put together or take up space. I also, most importantly, wanted to put something together that could be put away so NO ONE could touch it! Yes I mean NO ONE!
Make your Mothers Gift Set Checklist:
With is specific mothers gift set I decided to put together a bath set for my mom! I know it may seem a bit cliche but I vividly remember watching my mom thoroughly taking her time in the bathroom whenever she got a chance. And no not putting on make up or anything fancy but indulging in the simple skin burning shower followed up by a springy scented lotion! She always went throughout the day ready to tackle whatever came her way after sometime to her self!
And now that I am a mother myself I 1000000% understand the feeling! Although most of her kids are out of the house my amazing mother still cares for every one that comes her way. So I came up with this bath set just for her!
A Book or Something she enjoys
I included a prayer journal! Something like a journal or even a book the may have on their list to read is a great start to this mothers gift basket!

Like I stated before my mother pretty much has never worn make up. But I wanted to get her something you could store whatever she wanted in WITHOUT any dirty hands trying to take from her! That why I went this this makeup bag! It was the perfect amount of space to fit soaps, lotions, nail Polish, and maybe even some snacks!

Now that classic lotion! This is most definitely a cliche, in my opinion. You can’t really go wrong with it but I definitely can be overdone. I choose to go with it this time because she was stuck for years using what my sisters and I liked to use. This being said she would end up having to use the bottles with crusted and dried up lotion at the tip. So something new and nice is just what she needed! Because ,like most moms, she is so selfless that I cannot recall the last time she went to the store to buy something like lotion for her self!
